What happens to your data when you visit this website — in plain words.
Last updated
Template text. Fill in every highlighted field and have the page checked by a lawyer before the site goes live — this is not legal advice.
Who is responsible
[Company name], [street and number], [postcode] [city], [country] · [e-mail address]
Data protection officer
[Name and contact of the data protection officer — only if you have to appoint one; otherwise delete this section.]
Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by [hosting provider, address]. When you open a page, the server records technical data — IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and the page you came from — to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (a secure, working website). The logs are deleted after [retention period]. [Name the data processing agreement and, for a provider outside the EU, the basis of the transfer.]
Writing to us
If you write to us by e-mail, we use your message and address only to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless a legal duty to keep them applies.
Fonts
The fonts are delivered from this website's own server. Your browser does not connect to any font service.
Storage in your browser
This website sets no cookies. So that the loading screen shows only once per visit, it keeps one technical note in your browser's session storage; it is deleted when you close the tab (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).
Links to social networks
Instagram, LinkedIn and Behance are plain links — nothing of these services is embedded. Data reaches them only if you click a link, and then their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), have it corrected (Art. 16), deleted (Art. 17) or restricted (Art. 18), receive it in a common format (Art. 20) and object to its use (Art. 21). Write to [e-mail address].
You may also complain to a data protection authority, for example [competent supervisory authority] (Art. 77 GDPR).
Changes
We update this page when the website or the law changes. The current version is always here.
